If you have electric start and the motor turns over means your battery is proberly ok if you have the motor turn over for some turns and remove the spark plug and it is wet it is an ignition problem maybe a new plug or check the lead is attatched. If the spark plug is dry it could be a petrol problem remove the hose from the carby and see if petrol is running if it is the trouble could be a dirty carby or the valves if a 4 stroke need some repair if there is fuel showing up around the head area it could be a blown headgasket.Hope this helps

Your question is not specific enough to give a thorough answer to, but three basic conditions have to exist to start any internal combustion engine:

1.) Spark
2.) Air
3.) Fuel

I would recommend you begin by making sure each one of these are present in the engine. It's likely you will find one or more is missing. If you post some more detail to your question, I will try to respond in kind later.

is the engine turning, if not it could be the rectifier or the 30 amp fuse on the solinoid. if the engine is turning its possible your plugs are worn, water in the carbs or low oil. just a few ideas if their any use?
