Look at the list of countries who still have capital punishment on the books, you would not want to be associated with most of them. Why put him out of his misery, let him suffer for the rest of his life. You would be doing him a favor by killing him, and lowering yourself to the murderers level. People actually think that criminals consider this consequence when they are doing a crime, most of them don't believe they will ever be caught. He deserves worse than death.

When a person chooses to kill another person outside of the law, it is called murder. In the case of Sadam, he did not believe in law, but in his own selfish will. Now, the law has condemned him to death. He is now learning that the law in Iraq stands in defense of innocent people and is stronger than he is. If he wants forgiveness he should ask Jesus for it because man's law has already condemned him to an earthly death.

im irish and i think he does deserve the death sentence..
many will argue and say, no he doesnt deserve the death sentence, but a life sentence in jail.
i think if saddam was given the choice he would pick death. as, if he were to go to jail he would be under maximum security with no freedom for the rest of his life. and would just be hoping, and wishing every day, that he was dead. i doubt some how, he would prefer a life of misery.

I am an American citizen, I am very patriotic, but I do not hate Sada am.
If my government decides to go after him, so be it, I am a patriot, for whatever reason, I trust what we are doing.
Never forget though, that Sada am was once the poster boy for our government, and the CIA.
He double crossed us and started doing his own thing.
When he marched into Kuwait, he thought he had our blessing, his job was to keep that region under control for us, but he went too far.
I am an American veteran of foreign wars, If I was designated to take him out I would.
Make no mistake, I am one hundred percent behind our troops, I am one hundred percent behind our government.
Hate Saddam? hell no! I am just trying to understand the politics.
He was just another wrong, oppressive dictator, we just need to get rid of all of them, We kill a lot of people. without hating them.

I hate no one, I do however dislike what some people do, but I am not the judge, when their time comes, they will be judged by a power that higher than anyone here on earth, and I would hate to be in their shoes.

Hate is a strong word. But, that said, if his hanging becomes a pay-per-view event, I will make a party out of it.
