I have just finished State Board Examination and I wanted to ask about the books which I needed for IIT. Many have suggested HC Verma, I Irodov for physics, and math by rd sharma and ml khanna. Now i need help about 2 questions. Firstly whether the above mentioned books explain topics of 11 from the start or do u already should have studied the topics. Secondly I need some names of books for chemistry

As far as H. C. Verma is concerned you can refer it without any background. Try I.E.Irodov only after solving the problems of H C Verma, otherwise you will frustate yourself.
For maths, you need some background for both the books. If it is not the case, solve normal course-book and R.D. Sharma simaltaneously. M.L. Khanna is not so appropriate because it was considered better for descriptive questions, not for multiple choice questions.
For chemistry, you can refer O.P. Agrwal. It also can be read without any background.

see friend u can make ur life what ever u want.iit is not a big matter to achive .when u preparing for u r exam be cool,read the concepts of subject.its not how many hours u spent or how much u studied.but the important thing is how much u understood when ur reading.u can read any books related to ur subject no matter weather u have to read h.c varma or is father.if u think u can beat the exam along with faith in god,hope in u can beat that exam.it very easy man.think once wether iit exam has enough power to beat u or weather u have to the power to beat it.see my friend god has given u everlating power to achive anything on this earth.so i am sure that u will beat the exam easily.onethink i like to say is take sleep 6 hours everday dont get frustrated during exams.be always happy .u can acive anything in this world if u r ahppy and enthuastic always.see my friend u have many ways to go through the life .did einsten go to itt collage but he became a great scientist.but ur purpose is to earn a lot of money then is its ur wish.have a happy life .
