Download a programme called 'Motherboiard Monitor 5'. This shows you the tempeatures of your case, CPU and the sensor by displayiong it on your taskbar. If it senses that your hardware is overheated it can protect it by shutting it down (user configured). It also does much more (if you need it to).

Open BIOS & see the Hardware Monitoring, Else Use the third party softwares, can even get Intel Mother board CD, or SIW.EXE...etc...

check the bios..some have a pre installed monitor..if not , clean the fans with compressed air and add an extra case fan if the board allows it..also create more ventilation around the computer.
