NO. I beieve in relentless forward motion, no matter how slow it may be at times. I rest though when needed. Resting is sometimes the fastest way to move forward.

I quit a job once so I could go to college for several months, then I had to quit college because I needed a job. And I've been at that job ever since.

Only when it is to my advantage to do so. If I'm engaged in a task for work, I always follow it through to conclusion. If I'm working on a project at home, I sometimes stop before it's completed. I will finish the job, but usually in fits and starts. And occasionally when hiking in the mountains, conditions become too dangerous to continue to the summit (lightning), and I will reluctantly head down before reaching the top.

Yes, sometimes it is for the best if I got started on a path that will not benefit me more than it will cost me. I have quit smoking cigarettes several times.

If it is in my best interests, I can be quite relentless.
