Che Guevara wanted to help the poor underprivileged people of countries who oppressed them. He was for free schools and universities for all children, free medical care for all, a bit of land for small farmers to produce food for themselves and to sell it so their families could prosper.
To reach this goal, the only way he saw was with an armed revolt. Kind of like the American revolution.
His goal was to remove corrupt rulers who were financed by big business. The goal was to give more people a chance to have a minimal standard of living. The rich were forced to share their wealth. A sort of forced charity for the general public.
I find his ideals are very honorable. The rich are getting richer and the poor are getting poorer! Hopefully, some rich people will see the world outside the boutiques and help their fellow man before it comes to a new revolution!

Che Guevera? He was a superhero with the uncanny power to get his face imprinted on the T-Shirts of skinny rich white American teens with a severe case of Trust fund guilt. You see, Che's bunk about socialism being the future helped to empower geniuses like Castro and Chavez. Real humanitarians they are.
Like all Reds, Che displayed the courage to fight the inequality of his nation, and helped to turn the whole area into a 3rd world s-hole where nobody did well. He understood that because socialism can never be spread intellectually, that it had to be done from the barrel of a gun. A true hero that one.
He deserves his place in history along with Lenin, Stalin, Pol Pot, Kim Jong Il. Only with nicer hair and a handsome beret.

Guevara was forced to flee from Cuba to South America following the revolution. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Che_Guevara

To us Cuban-Americans, Castro is our Hitler and Guevara was our Himmler.

He was a thug who did the murderous bidding of one of the world's most brutal dictators. Why this man is glorified on T-shirts and such is beyond me.
