Do u people know that Malcom x - Bush - Gandi - and most leaders actauly follw
Mao Zedong ideas and teachings.
Esp in Australia or Fiji they really like him alot.
Why not declare his birthday a world holiday

2) he almost wiped out chinese cultures & customs

No kidding. Interesting. I think those are two simplistic statements. You'd better let the billions of Chinese in this country know that. It's not so black and white, and very much more complicated than that. I've been here 17 months, teaching English; and what I've learned is that they seem to have a like/dislike attitude toward him. They feel he did a lot of good and bad. They seem to appreciate what he did good and accept him as a human human, who did what he thought was right and, also, messed up.

I think what world leaders have done is taken what they felt was right about his teachings, and left what they felt is wrong. Isn't that what we all do?

You're nuts. Mao Tse-tung (correct spelling) is responsible for the most deaths in the world ever. Over 50,000,000. None of these people are like him at all!

He was a real scumbag. There's no-one like him alive today (thankfully).

Go read this book like I did. Then post a better question.
