Basically rats need 2 things to survive.
1 Staple food source
2 Continuous source of water.
You have sealed off the food.
But the water. sometimes its just a leaky pipe. Not necessarily yours, it might be your neighbors. Mice can travel quite a distance up to 3 floors. Rats can come from the basement of another building in search of food.
For mice- they usually like staying in warm place. near the radiator, around wall outlets with adapter. ovens etc.
Safest is to use sticky paper with bait. Cheese don't really work. Try garlic bread or chocolate cereal. Then keep the sticky paper in the hidden areas where your pets cant get to it. I'm sure by the next morning you'll be able to catch some.
* if they are about 3 inches in length ( body not including the tail), tape the sticky paper down so they cant get away. The sticky stuff will make a mess if they try to struggle.

your have to determine where the mice are coming in from first.
I 've found that most mice problems develop in the attic. there are safer rodents out there. example Quint ox which will increase the calcium in a rodent........ to much calcium will result in death... because mice do not have a gag reflex they are stuck with the product any products however dogs and cats do have gag reflex and can discharge the product.... remember always place your product in a safe place behind a fridge, behind a stove
in the attic.... out of sight out of mind. In addition you can also pre bait the area... one week use peanut butter then the next week use chocolate the week after cheese.... this can also work well on traps remember use very little and always use new traps so that association is not made by the mouse that sees his friend get caught ex; peanut butter means death.

pass out. sounds like the administration does not provide a rattling. There must be some form of tenants rights group on your area, and a few form of authority over landlords interior your interior reach government. only bear in innovations that a suitable criticism will tick off the administration and reason you destiny problems. you should use snap traps in factors your infants won't be able to get to, like interior kitchen cabinets. deploy toddler locks in case you do not already have them. Get some steel wool from the ironmongery keep and stuff it in the holes around the place the pipes come into your apartment. that's probably how the mice are shifting into. in the event that they have chewed by way of baseboards and such, plug the holes with something. around wiring, use caulk or expandable foam. you additionally can purchase traps stated as 'tin cats' from farm and ranch furnish shops. they seem to be a steel container with a million way doorways in each and each end. The mice go in and would't get out. Mice are curious to the component to stupidity, and could inspect something, so which you do not would desire to bait them. and that they haven't any factors to harm small toddler's arms. as quickly as a million mouse gets caught in the catch it creates a fuss, and attracts numerous greater. One catch can seize 20 or greater mice . the issue is eliminating them. I drop the full catch right into a 5 gallon bucket of water and drown them.

Mice will come in when the weather changes, both for food and warmth. It's when they start to populate that your in trouble. Get some decon in the boxes, shove them under things the animals can't get under, put them behind other things, this is were the mice will be, where the animals and you won't.
Give it a few weeks and you should start finding them around the apartment.

There are a couple factors to consider. Do you have any rodents as pets?( Hamsters, gerbils, mice). If so you will always attract unwanted guests. Do you live in an apartment? Just like any other critter if they are in one unit chances are they are in all. Bombing may help, but I would try a professional first.

they have mouse traps that are just sticky paper basically. so no gross mess, like with traps. you can also release a toxic spray into your house that should kill them all. just make sure you and your dog are gone for a day or two. Good luck, I know how awfull and frustrating it can be- I have dealt with them before too. Act quickly because they reproduce faster than you would think....
