Friendship is more important to some people than others. I do believe that one should have associates at least, too always be isolated is not good for you. If you are not the type to give of yourself to a friend in almost the same effort as a relationship then socializing would be best for you. Like me I'm moody and very picky about people I don't have allot of friends. I tend to focus in more on family and the special little and big things they bring to my life. I have lost about 4 friends (so called) in less than 5 years, so I'm through with that now myself. Just be free you don't belong to anybody but yourself. Joining social and creative groups with people most like you for me is more beneficial than friends!

I don't think they are as important as people make them out to be. If you are married than your husband/wife should be your best friend. I am married and have a couple of people that I talk to occasionally but no one that I would tell my deepest secret's to. Now my husband- I can tell him anything and know that he will still love me. Friends aren't really friends anyways. They are just there to listen to how crappy your life is when their life is going good. Sorry if this seems mean.

Yes, very.
Love is the only thing that you have when you're seperated from everything. It's the only spiritual support that you had and will ever have. You can't do nottin without it.
Friends are the lights that light up your nightmares
Friends are the trees that acts like umbrellas
Friends are the flames of life as in itself life is a flame that never goes out

It is important to have friendships. We as humans need contact w/ others. It would be lonely not to ever have anyone to talk to or hug, laugh, and share your thoughts.

Friendship carries a broad meaning to it.
Your cat can be yoyr friend.
Your book can be your friend.

Of-course! Friends are the closest people to us after family members...friend are the people who can stand up for you, help you, or even just make you feel better...
In Russia we have this phrase: don't have $100, have 100 friends! As you can spent $100 and would not have nothing left, but if you have friends! you know what i mean....($100 from each...heheh just joking)

Of course we do, we cannot choose our family, but we can choose our friends
We need friends more than anything, I have the greatest friends in the world, since we were in kindergarten, they stand by me, and always there for me, I don't know what would have I done without them.

yes, although we thought we can live alone and can do everything by ourselves but at the end of the day we still have to admit we need friends to be around, at least to learn and develop more in our own life.
