Politician's feel good to go abroad. Spend tax payers money and be treated by an Indian doctor abroad. I agree they must have the guts to be treated by reservationists . But you see they are only good at passing reserve types law cause they will get votes. By getting treated they do not get votes or they may not even be covered by news paper. But if they go abroad they get news paper coverage which fuels their ego's

I don't know about the politicians. They should have enough connections in US to get the best treatment possible. As for people who are flocking to India for treatment, the answer is simple: it's cheaper over there. The level of care might not be as good as the best in US, but then again, majority of the Americans don't get the best care anyway. That is why we need to get some sort of universal health care system going. Universal health care is not just a social issue. It has develop into a ecnomic issues as well.

Good Question, but we all know a bit of the answer, don't we ? They go to USA and UK to get treated even for blood sugar..while number of foreigners coming to India for treatment has increased from a mere 11,008 in 1999 to 26,900 in 2005, probably it has crossed the 50,000 mark this year.
Well, these guys goes for their so called treatment, spending your and my tax money, in order to do shopping, in order to close secret deals and start secret negotiations, to find out if everything is ok with their un-named bank accounts...and some...to chase skirts as well.
Any doubt's anyone ?

Politicians go for sight seeing and not for treatment. As treatment the expenses are Debited to the taxpayer

Many ministers with their influence will get seats in medical colleges for good for nothing students so they know what will happen to them if they go to get treatment with those doctors

I don't why but I do know that foreigners from USA and Europe are flocking to India for treatment so it can't be that bad.

they did so many SIN here. so they are cursed by lot of people. such reasons they scared to do any treatment here. And they have lot of money in swiss bank, how can they spend all this.? all uneducated, stupid, rouge, ( politicians other names ) no brain, and they have some business in abroad. the money our indian people's tax. they spend nothing. free money, why they bother any one's comments?

yes u r correct but my friend the govt spends on them and when they to foreign countries someone withe the family can go with them so u c its all our money and they enjoy
