friend, you know the age old story of Five blind men and the elephant.
Each one pictures the lephant in his own way. One touches the leg only and says that elephant is like a pillar. The other , touching the tail says it is like the rope. No one gets the FULL picture of the elephant.
So is with God. We are all blind with our respective faiths and we believe what we hear, feel, touch is the truth and nothing else.
If you are referring to the word Allah and mean just God , then your observations and views are acceptable. But the moment you think that God is out to punish the eater, the drinker, the merry maker you may be wrong. God created these eats , the drinks and the plays for the benefit of man. Enjoy them.
But be good , if that is an acceptable theory.

a beautiful idea is what you have but you need to understand that not everyone believes in allaah.just bcoz you believe in something so strongly doesnt mean that its is the truth.faith is stronger then the truth and the world is better that way.your allah seems like wonderful to believe in but that doesnt mean that you can change ppl.accept different ppl having different views.dont impose your thoughts on others.that will only lead to fights.no one is against allah and i am sure you would not want anyone to be against allah.then why do you oppose all other beliefs.be strong with this world.its full of variety and opposition.believe in yourself and your allah.when time comes ppl will find out the truth till then lets accept and spread love rather than fightin or arguing over the truth that we all think only we know but no one else understands!good luck!

Dear Fareed,
Every one feels that GOD is only ONE. God is the supreme authority on everything. No one denies this. This is just a question of interpretetion. So if we wish we may give HIM any name Allah, Jesus, God, Rama, Krishna. To start with we worship the idols because it is easy to submit to him. God can be understood only if we have absolute surrender and faith in GOD. It is a matter of experience. We have to reach the goal. The ways may differ. So don,t worry let everyone reach him the way one likes to reach HIM.

People view God in different ways & use different names. I'd say the majority does share a similar view to you're thinking.
You're extended question is pretty confusing. I'm not sure what you're trying to get across. Do you mean that we wouldn't have things like food, drink & the progressed technology that we have without God/Allah?

I am sorry but, I don't believe in just one god, even so all of the gods and goddesses allow free will don't they. I think anything to the extream for your personal self is not OK, I don't believe drinking (in moderation) and eating (healthfully) is bad. Technology was not invented when god and Allah were around so how can one know if they would approve? this is where common sense comes in to play

Only one. For you. The name is as you say. and that's OK, as long as YOU understand. You come from a different land and culture, your homeland is where you learned about your God in name that's OK. but the whole world does not have the same soil or people or anything. does that mean the whole world should look the same, if it did then we could all think the same but it does not.and we do not. We are all uniquely human to our land and language.

To monopolise a Name of God is very good business!Once you get a new follower, you get his purse also.Millions are converging to Mecca each year, thinking it's the only place of pilgrimage, though every year, they get killed by accidents,by thousands!
What is there special? Is it a Shiva lingam???So it's also worshipping of idol...The organisers get plenty of money from such pilgrimage, and just wish to get more and more...
There, they have to sacrifice a sheep or other, which makes it a bloody mess..Does God wish to see this ocean of blood?
You also throw stones to a pillar, representing the Devil!Don't you know that the Devil is within us,when we do Evil, like eating blood food, take intoxicants, rape people, beat innocents?
You should get deprogrammed,as such conduct leads to HELL!

Sree Ramakrishna Paramahamsa,an ancient phylosopher and saint in India had answered a similar question in a nice way and it still stands for your question!
He said:"Water is same in its nature and appearance all over the world. It is used for similar purposes by different nationalities. But people call water in different ways according to their difference in nationality and language. Many kind of people may take water from the same pond and one says 'water',other says'paani',another one says 'moi',next person call it as'thanni' and someone as 'vellam'.They call the same water in different names.
Also you can see water as 'sea' or as it is in 'the well' or as in the'river'.You find the same water in different ways.
Same thing is in the case of God.We can call it as Brahma or Vishnu or Shiva or Allah or Yahova. The effect is same."
It is not a suitable subject for an argument.

Why do you care what other people think? You have your own reasons why you believe your god is Allah, we may have our own reasons for believing that there are many gods, or another god, or no god at all. So why can't you just accept the diversity of other people's opinions, which are as valid and legitimate as yours?
