This question is one regarding the value of money.
Money itself cannot buy what you want or need if nobody will sell you it. Money is therefore of little value, compared to goodwill and good relationships with suppliers.
Things you can give yourself which you need are
a) good health
b) peace of mind and balance
c) integrity
What you want in addition to these core needs are largely a matter for your sense of status. Most people want things as other people have things which they see and want. If you do not see those things, or if you see through the illusion of ownership, you can destroy the envy or jealousy that accompanies the word "want".
You can buy goodwill. However, it is something which you must purchase wisely. The cost of goodwill, is what you pay, but for it to be effective the value to the recipient must be measured.
In other words the recipient must have need for money, rather than just a "want".

You can buy peace of mind. Use some of your money to make others' lives human. Contribute to charity not by giving the money, but taking your money and going to the place where it is needed most in your eyes. Find what children need there, education, food, warmth. And put your back into the project and help. Just giving to a charity does not insure the money gets to the ones who need it most. Personal contact; handing the supplies to those in need.
If you take care of the children, you will be taking care of the world itself.

Mr.Knowall,
You are contradicting yourself Need is a want. when you need something you want to get it to fulfill the need.If you say that there is nothing that you need then you will not want it. need only can propel you to fulfil your want.
Possibly you mean that you donot need anything but you want to possess, just for the sake of possessing it. You possess money but there is no use with that possession..
There is NOTHING that you can buy to make life continuously enjoyable. all that you can buy will give you only temporary enjoyment.. Then you are back to square one.
The estern philosophy realised this long, long ago ( 5000 years!) and they say you can inch towards fulfilling enjoyment through cutting down on wants. Cut desires , cut wants , cut chasing money to fulfill the wants.... You can buy happiness by that process.

I think that now what you need is some real peace of mind as you have already enjoyed lot of materialistic enjoyments. which are not permanent , just temporary, If you really want to feel happy and content deep in you heart, try to help some needy person, Try to wipe tears from eyes of some innocent people and see how satisfied and meaningful you will feel. It is some good deeds that your parents did that left you happy in this world, so you too ,try to do some good deeds, so that tomorrow your children will be blessed too.
This is just my opinion, it is your life and you can do what ever you want.

Buy loads of gadget things. Boys toys will make life more enjoyable. Buying things you need are a drag, it's buying things you don't really need that make life fun.

The fact is that you can't buy happiness, but you can give happiness. Find some charity that you like and give a regular donation to it and try to get involved in the organization, too. Go and help on some projects they are involved in. It will make you happy and somebody or sombodies happy. :)

Money won't make you happy!
It will just help to occupy your mind and temporaily take away your troubles but it will not make them go away.
However money can buy security and give you more options in life which gives you a big advantage over someone like me without money.
But it will not make your soul happy.
