Use cedar instead. Cedar balls, hangers or cedar-lined chests and closets. Putting your clothes in sweater or garment bags will help too. I have heard of mint also being effective, but have never tried that. They also don't like light, so you can put a shine on it as well. Good luck!

ooh, I had this problem before and it was a toughie. They make lavender scented moth ball things in satchet type packs, also cedar blocks help. But, it would really help if you start by washing ALL your clothes in hot water(pain I know) and once clean, put the cedar or lavender things in all your drawers/closets. Also, allow as much light in areas that you hang your clothes for a while. But u gotta wash and clean to start with. Good luck.

Cedar repels moths. Finer homes have cedar lined closets. Most lumber stores have cedar balls for sale, so does Discount stores.
