I realize that time zones are international and when someone is sleeping..elsewhere someone else is awake...but maybe it was my drowsiness causing my poorly worded question....but I was aiming for people who were on yahoo when normal dictates would suggest they should be asleep....it is no big deal i realize if you are on yahoo at 4 pm in the day....wherever that is.....I was looking for the silly people like myself ..on yahoo when they should have been sleeping///for gosh sake's people...lighten up....this was not a referendum on how Americans see the world....it was a silly question....

Its 5am and I woke up because I was too hot since my g/f is about a 100 lbs dripping wet and she insists on using a heated mattress pad which makes me feel like I need to be basted after about 5 hours. And then of course I had to pee, so by the time I maneuvered myself down the steps which is no mean feat since the darn cat thinks attacking your ankles from the steps is great fun, I was thirsty as all of the body fluids I had were now gone and the mattress pad sucks the very life out of me, so I had to get a glass of water and the kitchen light wouldn't go on and I'm not sure if its because all four bulbs went out at one time or somehow the circuit to the kitchen light has been cut off but since I cannot get into the room with the circuit breaker because its impassable due to the fact that my g/f's soon to be 26 year old son who still lives at home while attending grad school is a typical male and never picks up after himself and that's his study and how in the world he can even get to the computer to study is fricken beyond me, so now I'm completely frustrated and wide awake and here I am. And now I'm cold.

I'm in Alberta, but I've worked nights for the last 10 years and my whole internal clock has shifted over to a night schedule. I'm used to seeing the sun rise before I go to bed, not after I get up.

Would really love to be in bed but I work 12 hour shifts at night and don't get off till 7:30 tomorrow am.... anyway I thrive on the night owls- It keeps things interesting when nothing is going wrong - Oh and I am in KC, MO

well, I've been having some dental work done...nothing big just a couple of root canals and repaired crowns...but I have been given some narcotic pain killers which I took yesterday afternoon...and not being used to such things....I slept about 5 hours until about 9 pm...so here I am still awake...I'm in Vancouver BC and its 2:42 am and raining.....I'm sitting here on the computer trying to be quiet so my partner gets a good sleep...that's about it.

It's 4pm here in the UK. I sometimes stay up far too late on Yahoo answers - it doesn't matter at the weekend, but during the week I should get more sleep. I like it here, though.

some people have to work nights, like me and therefore are exposed to the late night browsing of Yahoo. If i had the choice though i would be sleep. but some people just conduct themselves better at night.

The world's borders extend beyond Los Angeles and New York, you know.
For the millions of us who aren't American, and live in different time zones to you, it may be a respectable hour.
For me it is 8:38pm Sunday night.

Huh? It's 6pm, I'm getting dinner ready. Just because you live in the USA, doesn't mean the world revolves around it. Why would someone have to live in any State?

Manila, Philippines
