Do you like it? Why or why not?

Anime and manga both rock, even though I think manga is usally better than the anime. If I had a million dollars, most of it would be spent on manga/anime. I'm actually pretty obsessed with it and sometimes am ridiculed for my extreme like of it. My parents also tease me sometimes because I would rather buy anime/manga than clothing. (I would rather shop for manga/anime than anything else)...
And why do I like it? Well one reason is because I'm obsessed with Japan. I also enjoy the art in it, and how it seems so great to be in their make-believe world. So that's my feelings and life story about manga/anime.

A friend of mine really gorges down on manga. But i watch anime mostly. He lend me vols of manga and yet i havent read about 80 percent of them. But to answer simply. Yes, i like manga only when i hear that the manga version is better than the anime. Examples are Love Hina, My Hime and its spinoff OtoHime, Hellsing, and probally Naruto & Bleach due to their fillers. Love Hina the manga is the best romance i have read. But watching the anime version. It really disappointed me big time. The same goes with Hellsing. But they do make it up with the Hellsing Ultimate OVAs which go by the manga pretty nicely.
But at rare times. The anime is better than the manga. Example would only be Trigun for now. If many of you have read the manga and watched the anime. Then you might agree with me that the anime version is better and less confusing.
So to conclude it bluntly. I kinda like both really. I mean, what anime nut doesnt like manga? Or vice versa?

It's wicked cool. I love anime/manga. The art work is totally unique and the story lines can get really in-depth. It's a completely different look than American animation and I like how the artist can emit a feeling by zooming in on the eyes of the character and reflecting it there.

Anime and manga make up about 98% of life and my thoughts. It is awesome!!

I absoloutely adore anime!! The drawings are fantastic(I wish I could draw!!) and they have such cute love stories!!
