I use a 1gig memory card, and previously the memory card was much lesser but it was still laggy. and even if i take out the memory card, the phone still remains laggy so i don't think it's a memory card problem. what can i do to stop it from being laggy? it's not under warranty my uncle bought it for me from thailand so i don't know what to do with it now, it's laggy till it's quite unbearable sometimes... (ie. the menu takes very long to load, like 5 seconds, which is considered quite long...)

hi.. check whether any other programs are running. many a times you may use the program but do not exit it out so it remains in the memory causing memory guzzler programs like gallery (which needs high memory for opening pictures, songs etc.)
you can check this by continously pressing the menu button.. which shall list down the programs in memory and you exit it properly, giving you a higher memory........

1gb memory card is only for storage, but the actual memory used is ROM which actuals ensures how your mobile runs.....

check as per above and see I hope that this shall help you.

in case you like a telephone with 2 cameras, then the alternative is very constrained. The Sony Ericsson K600i is a huge telephone with 2 cameras and 3G video conferencing facility. all the different effective factors you point out are additionally there. The N70 is a robust telephone too, however the K600i is extra effective looking.
