Greece and Turkey have no reason to become a confederation. You are talking about 2 autonomous states who have independent governments and significant differences as to the EU membership as well as religional matters, human rights, womens social status etc.
The world politics could be influenced in a positive way when the richest countries offer a part of their funds for strengthening economically the poorest ones, when all countries stop the war and defend peace and when human rights are respected by all.

well you have opened a new can.and what would this new country be named? greasyturkey?????just kidding.as for a new world government it would be for those that live in the state.both countries are in great military areas.you have to think about religion though. isnt turkey islam? and greece is greek orthodox? these two countries would have too many fights about religion to ever think of being as one.at least both countries leave others alone and are placid and keep to themselves and help the world economy by imports and exports.any country that can live in peace sell and buy goods from others and have tranquity in every aspect of life is an asset to the world

Greece and Turkey, what a question, they can not solve the Cyprus issue, or even start the talks, so as a Confederation, impossible.

It will never be, as Greece is already a member of the EU.
