Sorry to be a pedant but could you define what you mean by "football league" ? - and also whether you mean "Britain" (as you say) - or do you really mean England? In England there are dozens of leagues. Do you mean the main national professional leagues in England which are:

(1) The Premier League
(2) The Championship
(3) League One
(4) League Two

(roughly equivalent to the old Football League divisions 1 to 4).
