this is a new computer dont understand the message you must have administrative rights to down load these games which appears whenever i try to down load any games

As Mohamed says (sorry if spelt his name wrong btw) the name you click to sign into Windows has not been set up as an Adminstrative password.
If you're sharing the pc with your parents then you might need to ask them to set you up with adminstrative rights ... all they need to do is amend you account or set you up with a new one.
Look under Start, Control Panel, User Accounts

you are not signed on as administrator in xp
find the person who does and they can either change your account to an administrator too or they can download the game for you

not signed in as administrator you can't download if you don't sign in as an administrator because administrators are the only ones who have the power to download stuff onto computer
