The special election was a joke. Ahhnuuld finished in the top 10 with Gary Coleman and the porn star. At least this time he was running on his record and apparently enough people thought he did a good enough job to keep it.

He's a good actor. He made people believe that he's not a real Republican. His strategy to win over Dems and Independents by suporting traditionally Liberal causes won over people's votes. But he still supported Bush. Only good thing is that now he has to work with Dems like it or not statewide as well as nationally.

To answer the question,
is that he most governers win relection in Cal.

He failed his state but created the appearance of action, all he did was cut funds for social programs.

he took billions out of education and promised to pay it back he, didn't he lied.

his rival in the last election was sooooo unremarkable that i am sorta not surprised as sad to say.

i can honestly understand why people would vote against their own best intrest.

I feel he isn't harming califorina as much as holding it back....

Personally, considering the options...better the devil you know....at least we know he's not going to do anything STUPID like is predicessor...I was plenty glad to see THAT guy gone...Hopefully "the Governator" can get something done before this term is up....

Could be a lot worse. I kind of like the guy for his moderate stance. I've always felt that the ideal lies somewhere between the two extremes.

He has done a fine job for California. Let him alone without party politics and he will do fine.

That's mostly those morons in southern Cali. They have a poor education system down there, so they rarely realize anything important.
