Just stick to the facts - and you can be sure that the newspaper will get a quote from the shop (I assume) concerned which may be a totally different side of the story. Any documents and things like that should be shown to the reporter if possible.

Tell it like it is, and be able to back it up . Whatever you do say - don't count on being accurately quoted .
