trying to learn how to change recycle bin icons, an easy way, and if it can be done without changing the whole theme?

If you are using Windows XP, right-click the desktop, then go to the tab which says "Desktop", then click the "Customize Desktop..." Button and you can customize the Binif it is full or empty. You can even customize the My Computer, My Documents and My Network Places

in case you really deleted the icon, then that is lengthy gone. yet no matter if it remains on your laptop, you want to locate it. click browse contained in the replace pc icons menu ingredient and locate the icon you want to represent the completed and empty "Recycle Bin" (I deleted the call recycle bin and left it sparkling. i imagine apparently cooler that way, to boot, i recognize what my bin appears like without the identify lol)

2. properties
3. click desktop
4. customize desktop
5. click the recycle bin icon
6. click change icon
7. choose icon
8. ok

Install Microsoft Plus and change the desktop them. It will change many things.

Try going to www.geocities.com/new_cosmo_be ta (No Space Between the BE and TA) and ask them on their Live Help system. They can answer this kind of question. Ask them any computer question or and advice question and they can answer it and they are free. Try at least. But they will. They are on their live help system now!
