It is a Cannon S900 printer
All six ink cartridges are new,
the pictures were predominantly green, but after some fiddling with the two red cartridges the pictures are now pink.
There are thin horizontal lines of blue accross the picture, spaced out by about 4mm

Due to other problems I have yet to resolve this one, so can't yet pick an answer.
All 6 ink cartridges, have been replaced with cartridges from the same batch, the previous batch printed ok, so I think it is a print head issue.

I had a problem with my Cannon printer. Tried everything, new cartridges, deep cleaning, cleaned print head with alcohol and a soft brush. Nothing worked, went to a little independent shop where they were very helpful, they said that I needed a new print head. I'm going to buy a new printer as print heads are very expensive.
Was told that the print head is supposed to be cleaned after every colour printing episode as the nozzles get blocked.
I'm able to still print black but it's not wonderful qualitity.
Sorry I can't offer you better news.

Clean the heads. Can't help with a Cannon but I do know that Epson tell you that it may need up to SIX cleanings to get back to "real" quality again - so be prepared - and I know from experience, it's true!

you have a clogged print head, probably because you haven't used the printer for a period of time or are using poor quality third party cartridges.

Run a number of print head cleanings until there are no or very few breaks or gaps on the diagnostic page.

Try going to www.geocities.com/new_cosmo_be ta (No Space Between the BE and TA) and ask them on their Live Help system. They can answer this kind of question. Ask them any computer question or and advice question and they can answer it and they are free. Try at least. But they will. They are on their live help system now!

Clea out the printerheads, run a print test and see that all is well with it, and then try to print again.
