a lot of people are afraid to be alone.
I'm only afraid to be alone here at night, I get all paranoid and a walk around with my gun all the time even if I'm just going to the bathroom.
I dunno why I'm like that, nothing has ever happened, and I live in a gated community with security...

Absolutely. I have suffered from loneliness from time to time. You would be surprised how many people afraid to be alone. Sometimes it can be detrimental though. Some people will stay in bad relationships because they don't want to be alone. Some people are just people persons and need to have others around, but once you get used to being alone you will find that there is a great tranquility in being by yourself!

Yes, there are a lot of people that are afraid to be alone and therefore always have to be in a relationship. I have a friend who is like that.

Well, yes someone can be afraid to be alone. It's pretty similar to separation anxiety, but I believe the actual term for it is Isolophobia (and yes, that is an actual medical term for it).

Both cases, can be scary. But you'll grow up to get used to it.

the feeling of being alone scares me i dont know but i always have to have somebody here with me maybe because it's crazy in the world these days and i just dont like the thought of being here by myself if something should happen

Why do you think there are so many people in relationships and married...? I personally love being by myself. Some people need the security given by another person/pet/whatever.
