Yup, cashier at a Petco store. They didn't give the proper training and the place was filthy.

I am sure I did because it was one of my most enjoyable moments, quitting a job. I quit of got fired about 30 times. I just love being free to do what I want.
On the other hand, I did finally find a job I really liked and was pretty good at it, and for six years I helped combat Veterans get there lives back together after suffering through combat. Soldiers go through that experience thinking that they are the only one terrified by combat and just trying to keep from going crazy.
And then they get home but do not adjust to being home because they are plagued with problems being nervous, in shock and general angry and confused. It goes on for years and many never recover to a point that they can function well in the family or at work.
However, I was good at identifying with them and assisting them to get benefits from the Veteran Administration and Social Security.
Sometimes you just quit the job on the first day because your inner self tells you this is not it, and it is also a search for a meaningful occupation for yourself. If you find out it is not the one on the first day, quit and look for another one.
Thanks.

YES SIREE! It was a fill in for days off position at a small nearby hospital. They were paying me a ridiculous hourly wage. On my first day, they made a first year radiography student train me on how the department runs while they ate doughnuts and "supervised" me. I was getting pretty honked. They told me it would be good for me to go do a portable xray (you have to push a monster machine around) but did not tell me where the key to turn on the damn thing was and then wondered why I took so long to do it. AT the end of the day I told them I was not coming back. I am a great technologist and can run most any machine, but at some point it is a patient safety factor and I am NOT willing to hurt someone (by delaying a service) because someone else is too lazy to show me where a stupid key is.

Yep. I've been bartending for 8 years now and make good money at it. Everyone once in awhile I'll pick up a 2nd job to help make some extra money but as soon as a boss pisses me off I just quit. I already have a good job so I could care less about the 2nd. One time I was starting a pizza delivery job and I was literally 2 mins late on the first day. The boss said something as soon as I came in. I looked at my cell phone, according to that I was 2 mins early. Ya know how the clocks at work are never in sync w/the rest of the world. I told him it wouldn't happen again and he just wouldn't let it go. I finally just took off my uniform after being there for 30mins, threw it at him and said, screw you, I'm out.

Well ..I had to once. I worked at a restorant and it paid only $2.13 an hour regaurdless of the amount of tips i got, I had no car at the time, there was no public transportation near, and the money was not even enough to pay for a cab home.
When I took the job he said I would get lots of tips but it was a night shift at a country place and nobody came in. I lost money that day.

Yes, when I first started working out of high school. I worked at Del Taco. They put me on the drive thru window and the mike was broken. I didn't enjoy the environment and never worked in a fast food environment again.

I did. I got hired for a great secretary job but the guy I ended up working for was not the one who interviewed me and he was a total perve. He made sexist and rude comments at me all day but when I was leaving for the night, he pinched me. So I slapped him and quit.

no but I got fired on my first day. I was at the taking order's at the register for a movie theater. It was busy and stressful I had to get people's food and drinks while they complained. So one guy got real mad because I messed his order up and I pulled him over the counter and punched him pretty hard.
