I need hepl adding a PHPBB forum to my page?

i have a hosting with sql and space but i'm not sure how to add it in, could anyone help and be spacific on what to do please?

i tried to use the phpbb support but i just didnt get how to add the files in, would i have to go 1 by 1 over and over

Hi Sam,
Installation of phpBB is quite easy.

once you download phpbb from phpbb.com extract it to your local disk. now if you want fourms to install at www.mysite.com/forums then copy all extracted files not the mail folder but all files and subfolders to that location.

To upload files you can use any ftp client I prefer smart ftp.

once you finish that goto www.mysite.com/forums/install.php
and just follow the steps which includes creation of mysql database also.
for creating mysql database goto cpanel and login to your account create database for forums and use that database name in the forums configuration when asked.

to add a phpbb forum, u need a hosting that support phpbb program to be installed.

first identify which type of sql u got from hosting. phpbb beautifully run on MySQL. u can refer to the phpbb homepage to install the application if ur hosting provider didnt provide it for u.
