Yeah, they have a chance....but they'll need to depend on other teams to perform poorly. If Florida wins out, they shouldn't count on a spot in the Championship game.
USC is a good team...but they aren't as good as Florida, Arkansas or Rutgers. But even though Arkansas and Rutgers are better than USC (atleast in my opinion), I don't think either team stands a chance of making it to the Champs.

i think they have a chance cuz number 4 longhorn lost today and florida barely won and lots of top ten teams lost today so usc is moving up the ladder but all defend on ohio state and michigan state battle next week to determine if usc has a chance to play for national championship

yes, if they win out. Their next two opponents are top 20 teams in Cal and Notre Dame and their last game is at ucla.
Their strength of schedule ranking in the Sagarin computer poll is in the top 5.
BUT, it's going to be tough to beat Cal and Notre Dame in consecutive weeks, even at home.

They definitely have a chance if they win out
but not just because Cal lost but also because
Florida didn't play too impressively,
Georgia beat Auburn, & Texas lost to Kansas State.

Nope. They don't have enough blow out wins to help with the computer making the decisions. Booty will get better next year and they should be able to find a stable and productive running game next year.
