And will my friends know that I'm online, do I have to make a email list so I could know who's online??

well when your on messenger it will either have a red icon or a grey icon next to their name meaning they are offline, or a green/blue icon if they are online
but its also posssible to set it to make it appear that your offline, even thou u can be online.

if they r online (and assuming u hav the newer version) the little msn icon person on the side will be green, if they r not online it will b grey

Try going to www.geocities.com/new_cosmo_beta and ask them on their Live Help system. They can answer this kind of question. Ask them any computer question or and advice question and they can answer it and they are free. Try at least. But they will. They are on their live help system now!
