My Dell allows me to have two batteries installed. That's the only reason I haven't parted with it. It plays DVDs nicely also. It has a 15" screen which is rather large; larger than I'd normally want. Notebooks tend to be smaller than laptops. The one upgrade I recommend is RAM. You can never have enough.

initially look on the processor. The Centrino middle 2 Duo isn't undesirable, yet you will get one on the fee of around one million.8 Ghz. that could desire to guard merely approximately any application or perhaps video games. For the RAM you pick a minimum of one million GB, yet i could propose you get 2GB in case you do not prefer to could desire to do extra advancements in merely some months. in case you like notebook video games, then you certainly could beware for the portraits card and the Video reminiscence ATi and Nvidia are the acceptable in the industry. And for the Video RAM, get a minimum of 256MB committed, so which you will have the potential to appreciate any interest you prefer. Oh, and look out for the not undemanding disk. Get a minimum of a hundred and twenty GB. i assume that's approximately it. Now for the manufacturers, i could stay remote from Dell. not very sturdy on the long term. you may evaluate HP, Compaq, Toshiba or in case you prefer the acceptable, attempt Packard Bell....hehehe. I even have one myself, and that i like it. Now the alternative is your. It additionally relies upon on your funds. you may anticipate something around seven hundred to 1000 USD. nicely, i wish that replied your question. Goodluck!!!

Get a apple macbook laptop, they just came out with the intel core 2 duo on them, they dont get spyware or viruses on them so you dont have to worry, they can install windows now (with boot camp) then you might have to install a firewall on the windows side of the computer.
