When 24 was on TV - I could never get into it, if you missed 5 seconds of it, you were completely lost, so I ended up buying the first season - and I haven't looked back!!!! Oh my... I've just watched Season 5 - didn't want to watch it on tv for risk of missing some, I got the box dvd's instead, and it simply is the best thing ever!!!! I watched Mission Impossible 3 last night, and was soooo disappointed with the lack of action!!!
Roll on Season 6!!!!
As for the Shield, I haven't seen it yet, perhaps I'm missing something???

I love The Shield but for some reason I could never get into 24

I prefer Shield to 24 as I never got around to watching every episode of the 24 series. Then again I'm a CSI-phile.

not a big fan of the shield but 24 is the best show EVER!!! It is so unique and fresh; keifer sutherland is genius! He was born to play Jack Bauer
