Somebody has told me that on one of the Extended editions there is a video dedicated to a lad who passed away during filming. Does anyone know which DVD it is on and where I can find it????

It is there. It's a film made by a young lad with some form of cancer (maybe luekemia), who was in contact with Peter Jackson. Jackson gave him a lot of time and help, and if I recall correctly some of the LotR crew gave up their time to help the lad out with his film-making.
The resulting short film is excellent, as is the biographical feature on the lad.
I'm sure it's on the "Return of the King" extended edition, but it might be on "Two Towers". But for all those people who've said it doesn't exist, they are WRONG - it DOES exist.

His name was Cameron Duncan and you can find out all about him on the extended "Return of the King". He was a talented young film maker who obviously impressed Peter Jackson and the song "Into the West" was inspired by his passing. The documentary can be found on the printed menu that accompanies the dvd. Don't just watch the films there is a huge quantity of interesting stuff on the dvd extras of these films, much better than the average dvd.

It is on LotR 3 - Return of the King. The ending theme song of the movie is also dedicated to him.
Addition: For those who have given a thumbs down and say it doesn't exist: the topic is thoroughly discussed during the director's commentary. Ok, it is not a video as such, but it is there!

I own the extended dvds and there is nothing like that on any of them.

I have it and I bought it at WalMart...And I believe it's on "Return of the King". I bought all 3 at the same time.
