Chicha Morada is NOT an alcoholic drink, its a Traditional Peruvian beverage made of purple corn, cloves, pineapple & quince! I was just asking because of the purple corn... I would never drink booze pregnant or not!!!

I would think so. As long as you don't add any alcohol to it, it is a healthy drink.

I've been consulting my doctor about this, and while it is STRONGLY recommended that you do not consume any alcohol during pregnancy, there have not been any definitive tests in which they have proven that ONE drink per week, after the 1st trimester, is permanently damaging.
The latest studies show that alcohol consumption during the first trimester causes FAS (fetal alcohol syndrome).

i would say ask your doctor, some say a glass a wine a day is good some say no. it really depends on what the doctors says and how you feel about the results it may have in the long run. research it weigh your pros and cons. is achohal so important it cannot wait until after the baby come? mommyblues

no. all alcohol and drugs during pregnancy DIRECTLY affects the baby's development.
The myth of a glass of wine of day is seriously misunderstood and should not be taken into account here.

my mother was an alcoholic while she was pregnant with me i turned out just fine even tho i dont recomend u drinking alot 1 or 2 is absolutly fine........
