I saw a ufo one time. It was broad daylight. 12 noon, crystal clear blue sky. So. Cal. It was low in the sky. Not far off either. Maybe a mile. I had a perfect line of sight. I was stone cold sober. 23 years of age with eyes of an eagle. I could see every bit of detail in the craft. It was like nothing I've seen before or since. That was 25 years ago. I've never seen a drawing like it or heard one described like it. I wont say what I saw. I don't want to influence your answers. What did you see?

Hi Free, actually I lived within 5 miles of an Air Force base. But no It's in a heavily populated area. Norton Air Force Base. It didn't have wings. It was flying parallel with the ground. I was sitting on my porch talking on the phone when I noticed it. I told the person on the phone. I think I'm looking at a ufo. I haven't been able to describe the color of it until about a year ago. It was all one color. No markings at all. Have you ever seen titanium after it's been frozen to make a golf club? It's a shiny burnt metalic color. It was very similar to that but not quite the same.

I was driving through Holland in the early 80's with my buddy in a Toyota Celica. It was around 3: 00 am.To the right of our car at a distance of approx. 200 meters,we saw 3 lights above the tree tops of some woods..blue,yellow and red. They seemed to be pacing us ...I was cruising at around 130 kmh...the lights changed shape (patterns )..circular,then tiangular, then lineal. This went on for what must have been 10 km or more when I stopped in a lay-by and my friend and I got out of the car to look closer at the lights. There was no sound .very little traffic and clear ,early morning weather. We both observed the 3 lights..they continued to change shapes...suddenly they sped off at a tremendous speed into the sky above us.
My friend took out a cigarette and lit it with shaking hands...my legs were wobbling and shaking and my mouth was very dry.I asked him if he'd seen the lights too ,to which he replied "those 3 things ? Probably a jet or something like that !"
He finished smoking and we got back into the Toyota. I turned the key...and Hey! Presto!..the car wouldn't start!!! This was a Toyota,,,and they ALWAYS start !!
After 5 or so minutes, the engine sprang to life and we set off through a very silent Holland and wondered all the time just what it was that we had BOTH witnessed !

I have seen UFO's in movies and read many stories featured in books. Real UFO's - whether they really exist or not I have not encountered to have a look at one of them.

What you saw might be real one, who knows?, which was good enough to inspire someone to write a poem. It goes like this:
>>>UFO<<<
I saw a ufo one time.
It was broad daylight.
12 noon, crystal clear blue sky.
It was low in the sky.
Not far off either. Maybe a mile.
I had a perfect line of sight.
I was stone cold sober.
23 years of age with eyes of an eagle.
I could see every bit of detail in the craft.
It was like nothing I've seen before or since.

Yes, I have. It was back in the early 70s here in No. Ca. It was in the early evening, had not been drinking or using any drugs when a friend and I both saw a bright eerie light in the sky moving slowly across the top of a ridge and it came to a sudden stop as if checking us out. After about 5 seconds, it shot off (not a gradual acceleration) in a completely different direction at an incredible speed. All without a sound. Sorry, I have no shape or description other than it was a weird blue-white light. Neither my friend nor myself bothered to tell anyone about it, because we would have been labeled dopers even though we didn't partake that evening. It was like nothing either of us had ever seen.

When I used to live in Upstated New York, my brother on two separate occasions (he's a highschool sports star.. not exactly too keen on UFOs, Aliens, and other phenomena) when camping in the woods, he remembers looking off in the distance when around a fire, and seeing a green light being shown down into the woods. It scared him enough to never want to go camping without me ever again.

My mother and sister were driving home once and remembered seeing three orange glowing orbs near our house, just sitting in the sky, one would dissappear and the other two just shot off.

I remember an occasion when watching the sunset and seeing a con-trail made by a jet going into the horizon. And then seeing a metallic object, appearing to follow the jet but sort of circling the contail while following it. Was very very odd and had no clue what it was since it was travelling rather fast.

My girlfriend's mother talked about when she was driving across the U.S. by herself once, when she was in Arkansas she was driving near a barn at night, when she saw a green light over it. She said she was never more scared in her life than that moment.. she said it just hovered then took off.

Yes, I've seen three in Northern Louisiana. One separate and two together.
The single one I saw first. I thought I was watching a shooting star going across the sky, it was going about shooting star speed, but it instantly took a 90 degree turn and tripled its speed. I don't know of anything we have that can make an instant 90 degree turn and instantly increase in speed like that. I was dumbfounded.
The other two I saw in the same location but a few months later. I was watching two particularly bright stars in the sky. To my amazement one of the stars began to drift away from the other one. It slowly increased in speed until it reached what we consider shooting star speed. After it was out of sight I looked back at the other star then it began to follow the first one, increasing in speed until it disappeared as well. I look at that spot in the sky every night now but it's always just empty space, no stars are there.

You mentioned you saw the object 25 years ago in Southern California. Could it have been a secret military test aircraft? Was the object flying over a densely populated area? Or was it seen over the desert near any military bases? I'm not necessarily doubting you, just looking for a more earthly explanation. I have seen a couple of strange objects that could be termed as UFO's. I wasn't anywhere near a military base at the time. What I saw is known as "hanging lights."

actually I think i saw one last week. It was 6am (light outside at that time here) and it was flying low, enough to where I could clearly tell if it was a plane or helicopter. I didnt see the craft itself, i just saw white lights in the shape of a circle. it was very bizzare. it was moving kind of slow and then suddenly went in the direction i was going in and disappeared. I was almost tempted to call the FAA and find out if any plane or jet had been on radar in my area at that time to just make sure i wasnt driving myself crazy. I didnt believe in UFO's before but i am beginning to.

Yea, on a tour bus in Mexico near Veracruz. The driver even stopped and about 40 of us saw it. It was really weird since we were up on a mountain and it was hovering right above us, no one else was around. It sounded like an 18 wheeler coming down the road constantly.

I have. Several times over the years. Vivid memories of a low flying 'airplane' at hydro wires level, with propellers spinning at very slow speed. Didn't make sense..I know it wasn't really an aircraft. Other experiences as well. Strange..

Ya i've seen some a few times. Once i saw an airplane that turned into a helicopter too. I Mean it sounded like a 747 jet and it looks like a jet in the distance but i can hear it. It keeps getting closer and closer and it looks different then i hear helicopter propellers and it's a helicopter. Weird thing is i was with a friend and he turns to me and says "did that plane just turn into a helicopter?" I was in total shock because i saw the same thing.
