im not sure if motorcycles have a mass air flow or not, but that is the solution alot of the time for cars. If not then it's the idle control valve.

I'd say it's your slow jet, it's not rich enough i think, your slow jet(pilot jet sometimes called) controls the mixture of fuel when the bike is idling, and if it's not providing enough gas, the bike will stall or just refuse to run. So try changing it or your best bet is even just going to your local shop or dealer that works with suzuki's and ask for a solution, that's what they get paid to do, that's where i go when i need help. Also you might just try cleaning your jets, my bike had around the same problem, it would run fine with the choke on, but as soon as i took it off, it would run for about 4 seconds then stall out and die. So I tore into the carb and cleaned it completely, bowl, jets and all, and now it runs just fine. Good luck, and happy riding!

Pull the carb and clean the idle circuit.

You are running lean. Check the carb mount and any/ all vaccumn conections. This is important as you can burn up the piston running lean.
