I'm aware of a book that was made on this some time ago and there are probably web sites and such. but I want your own or someone you know's mistakes

When I was little my dad would listen to the Eagles song Hotel California and I used to think it said "when your out of ice" instead of "bring your alibies" at the end of the second chorus. I was pretty young and I guess I was imagining it to be a real hotel, ice machine and all!

in don McLean's American pie, the lyrics are "and you both kicked of your shoes" i sang for years "your buff kicked off your shoes".

in AFI's Prelude 12/21 it sounds like he is saying "kiss my *** and lay me to sleep" instead of "kiss my eyes and lay me to sleep"
In AFI's Dancing Through Sunday it sounds like he's saying "I'm an asshole, I'm an asshole" instead of "and we dance on, and we dance on"
