Will my body temp decrease? Or any other signs? I had a ovulation test and it was becoming positive 2 days ago and yesturday morning it was a definate positive. Since its afternoon now, you reckon we should still have intercourse now?

I don't need to know when I'm ovulating, just when it stops.

Ovulation is pretty much an instant thing. One of your ovary releases an egg and that's what ovulation is. The question I think you are asking is how long does the egg live. Your egg can live up to 24 hours, which means you can get pregnant within 24 hours of ovulating.

Also, sperm can live in a woman's body up to 4 days. So if you have sex a few days before your ovulation, this will increase your likelihood of getting pregnant since there'll already sperm waiting for your egg.

If you want to get pregnant, have intercourse when you have mucus on your underwear or on your toilet paper when you wipe. If you don't have any, then that means you are not ovulating and you cannot get pregnant. Also, your hormones are higher in the p.m. hours, so you are more likely to conceive in the p.m. hours.
