a lot of people feel the same way. we will have to hold out and see what happens but i am almost hoping that a dem does take the white house so they can stop blaming the rep for everything under the sun.

If another 9/11 happens, it's all Bush's fault. It was under his administration that the last 6 years have occured. After 9/11 we went into Afghanistan which was exactly where we needed to be. Then we decided to go to Iraq for all these reasons that were the least of our concern at the time. Sadaam was a secular dictator, meaning he didn't give a rat's a** about Muslim extremism. He didn't help Al Queda out and that was the one place they were definetly not at before we went in there. The Iraq war has taken all the focus off of Afghanistan and we are not able to accomplish the noble fight with which we went into Afghanistan as a result of it. In addition to this, our troops are stretched so thin that if something else happens somewhere else we're damn near screwed.
The Democrats will have to clean up the mess the Republicans left behind, and they will get no credit for it once it's done.

What's the matter things not go your way on Tuesday? Flip flopping my a**
1. Bush senior started the first war over there and didn't let the military finish the job.
2 Bushie boy Jr started this one with a bunch of lies. Oh I am sorry wrong information from the CIA. So it wasn't his fault right?

well its just like the people who survived katrina. the mayor of new orleans didnt know what to do the governor of the state apparently left the state to get out of the storm and no body was in charge.the reason so many perished is because of no leadership.that general running around like a chicken with its head cut off wasnt any help even after a week passed.fema didnt know how or what to do because no one was there to tell them.all those buses in the 9th ward sitting there and waiting.those people who died could have been saved as well as the others if someone had told a group to get in those buses load them and get out of harms way. you have to have leaders to accomplish anything.since we dont have any im afraid that iraq will be another vietnam. wont make any difference if a democrat republican or independent is president.the damage has been done and cant be repaired.i believe the pentagon knows exactly where bin laden is but they wont do anything about it.there are possibly hundreds of operatives inside afghanistan and posing as the people looking for whatever they are seeking.a few sorties with 2000 pounders and i do mean pound-ers will find bin laden. all those mountains have places where terrorists can hide but no one cares to find them.i think the staff wants for this war to go on and on.americans are sick of no gain and the deaths of many soldiers are not what we had expected.i know that when you have war there will be young men and women killed but since they captured saddam there havent been anything to clap about.also there is the coverups of many soldiers who have been killed by friendly fire. pat tillman was shot by his own men while trying to get their attention that he was a friendly.one soldier had tunnel vision and another just had surgery on both his eyes. who was responsible for giving them the ok for duty?those men were not physically able to perform as they should have.ive read all about what happened that ill fated day.those things happen but this time it is an outrage.i think that most soldiers in battle do get blood thirsty and forget who they are.it happened in vietnam.im sure it will happen again. well im off course but i had to get this off my chest.i rest my case

Well I disagree with your assessment. "Not every war can end in a couple of days" -- yeah I agree with you, but let's just look at major combat operations against Imperial Japan and Nazi German -- 1942-1945 - 3 years and out....3 years in Iraq and no end in sight...why...because we aren't fighting a war yet.
Fighting a war and policing a nation are two entirely different things.

Well lets see. There was a republican president, congress and senate at the time. The republicans want to blame the previous president who was a democrat even though the republican president had taken over the office for over 7 months and 20 days.

Simple, the fingers will point at Bush. After all, going into Iraq didn't decrease extremism, it increased. More terrorists are being recruited thant they are being killed and they are hard to pin down. Sorry, but the war in Iraq simply strengthened the terrorists.

Another 9/11? They won't quit until they've wiped out USA & Israel like Moh told them to & est. Islam. They don't invade & slaughter because of Bush or something anyone else did but because they want to.
