There is no need for any cable. If you have bluetooth in ur phone and laptop, you have to connect them and configure the bluetooth settings on your laptop. If you don't have a bluetooth on ur laptop, then you gotta buy it.

you can't do it by connecting to your phone but what you can do is get a gprs card / modem for your laptop and then put your sim card in that - you will connect to the internet using your laptop and use your phone account
