my ex bf of 8 yrs & i have been making a go of it again for the past 10 mnths (shortly after his ex gf left him) yet nothing is set in stone as far as where we stand. he left friday to go to camp to hunt & i haven't heard from him nor i have been able to reach him. the ex gf lives 2 doors away. should i be worried that he is w/ her? she has been contacting him by phone & sending him letters although nothing for the past 2 mnths ( that i am aware of) pls set my mind at ease. he didn't even tell him he was leaving (our son called to ask me if he could stay the weekend w/ me) nor did he answer his phone prior to leaving for camp.

ive kinda been there before... its hard to let go of them being with someone else, but if you dont it will eat you up and ruin your relationship. you should talk to him about it... thats the only way to know. and i dont want to be rude, but if nothing was set in stone then he doesnt really have to let you know whats going on in his life. mabey you read into it too much. i hope not, i hope everything works out, but dont make more of it than he does. talking is the biggest key. good luck babe!

Maybe he just needed a little time away. For some unknown reason men have a one track mind. My boyfriend does the same thing sometimes. He will conveniently forget to tell me he is leaving (he rides 4-wheelers) until the last minute and he doesn't really call much while he is gone. Just give him a little free time. If he doesn't contact you when he gets back, then you can worry (or tell him to kiss your butt which is what I would do!!) He probably just figures that you know him well enough to know that he will come back to you on Monday. Good luck!

You obviously don't trust the guy any further than you can throw him. Why put yourself through the headache of "making a go of it again" if you so clearly don't want things to work out?

I think you should be questioning what he's doing there. Dont start acusing him because he'll start a fight over. Just find a way to politely ask him about it.

Give him the benefit of the doubt. Ask him when he comes home. Stop worrying about things you don't have any control of.
