should i get really chic accessories or those classic diamond necklaces that would never go wrong? hmm, plus i have rather tanned skin

Depends on the occaision. if its formal i would go with the diamonds. if its just dress up dance type of thing then it depends whether you want to or not.
just in case you dont know: do not ever try to pass fake diamonds as if they are real (in other words dont wear fake diamonds and pretend they are real)

All the more reason to wear a white dress! White looks especially good on tanned skin. It's really up to your personal preferences but please go with silver if the dress is pure white, if it's a pale cream/mid cream or a beige choose gold. That way the accessories will not only match your skin tone but your dress. It also depends on the occasion. If your dress is semi casual go for chic accessories but if the dress is formal go for a classic look with silver/gold and diamond or Swarovski crystals (the cheapish ones, very sparkly and nice) in pretty colours.

Whats the white dress for!?
I had a white summer dress and now in the winter i wear it with black leggins and it looks super chic. with super big sunglasses ofcourese.
Just go with a classic diamond necklace it'lll look cute. Goodlook.

no diamonds! go with some really cute accessories! lots and lots~~~!!!! its a lot funner and not as like too sophisticated! forever21 has fabulous necklaces!
im actually going to be wearing a white/creamy dress to a school dance....i would recommend you dressing the dress up with a lot of faux pearl necklaces that are different lengths! like about 10 necklaces that are different sizes too! omg soo cute!!!

i would rather not put accessory at all to show my tanned skin, especially if I'm going to wear white dress.
A nice make-up, fragrant perfume, Italian shoes, a very nice handbag will compliment your white dress with elegance rather than putting jewels.

You can't go wrong with a black and white mix... if you want to be classy, try the white dress with a thin black necklace, earrings, bracelet etc.

bling it out baby all the way yes go to claires they got cute austrian crystal necklaces. it would look nice on tanned skin.

dont go with diamonds in will blend in with the dress you should try turqouise colors or something bright like red. gold would look good too.
