I don't know about cingular but I do have my phone set to ring the song "STING" when someone with a blocked number calls so I know to ignore it.
You might be able to get help from your provider but in the meantime assign unidentifeid calls to a ring tone you can recognise and reject.

Set your phone up so that unidentified numbers have a silent ring. That way if it was an unidentified number, but it was important, they can leave a message.

try reading the manual that came with the phone. it may tell you. if not call customer service for cingular.

if u're using any symbian supported phone , i rather suggest to install a software called BLACKLIST to your phone..from thre u can block any of the unwanted calls... or try to ask your service provider they might help u in this..
