A preemptive strategy is good, if we were under a direct, and serious threat from a foreign power.

Most nations have a preemptive strike strategy if they feel they are under threat. It is a good stategy, but one that shouldn't be abused.

Nothing wrong with a pre-emptive strike if it is a real pre-emptive strike..You have to know ...100%... That they mean you harm...Like any Al-qaida locations anywhere in the world should be bombed... Not Iran and so far not North Korea....

Oh yes, I'm very much in favor of preemption. Liberals OTOH, would rather wait until thousands or millions are murdered before striking, even if it can be prevented. These liberals are probably also opposed to preventive medicine and dentistry.
