sometimes I pass people on the street and they look so sad especially the homeless I got to talking this evening with a lady who always ask for money around town she calls me her angel as for some reason 2-3 times a month I seem to run in to her . I stop and talk with her when I can and give her a couple dollars this has been going on about a year and this time I talked with her about trying to turn her life around and get off the streets living from place to place she has been through alot and can't find her light at the end of the tunnel. We never know what anyone is going through or has been through and with the holidays coming it is especially hard for many. reach out to someone if you can even to just go out of your way to say hi volunteer to feed the homeless or buy a toy for a child in need it will make you feel better as well as the person be aware of con artist though they are also out during the holidays God Bless hopefully someone doesn't violate me for this

i dislike people who yell at me for being naive when im nice to a homeless person, claiming theyre a con man, but i live by the pay it forward rule, but helping someone out wont just make their day, you feel better about yourself for doing it on your own will and time

I make it a point to do one (at least) good deed per day, whether it's holding a door for someone, saying hello to a stranger, letting someone with fewer groceries than I go ahead of me in line, letting someone merge into my traffic lane, etc. You are correct, you never know what a strangers life is really like, what has happened to them recently or years ago that still affects them. Gosh, if each and every one of us could reach out to others in little ways each and every day it would make this world a much better place. Be good humans.

i do no longer provide funds to panhandlers anymore. you could besides hand them a six-%. or a carton of cigarettes by way of fact maximum often it extremely is the place you funds is going to. we've nutrition, guard, and garments for all of the homeless in my city and that they be attentive to the place they are able to flow to get the help they want. engaged on the guard or nutrition kitchen is a huge theory. i visit try this. or maybe merely donate funds right now to them as then a minimum of it is going to likely be used wisely. It have been given fantastically chilly out this night and that i replaced into merely thinking how grateful i'm for having a house below my head and nutrition in my abdomen. I in some situations forget the advantages that I do have in my existence; the failings I too often take with no attention. thank you for mentioning my very own selfishness and what's somewhat important in existence. helping others above your self! Amen.

Definitely! I love doing and saying things to brighten another person's day, and without even realizing it, my day becomes brighter too.
