You dont have ED yet or any symptoms, just masturbate daily.

Actually, the reverse is true.

The reason I know this is the personal experience of a 38 year-old male friend of mine a few years ago. He has been without a partner for some time (8 years in fact) and relied on "self-service" during that time.

When he did begin a relationship with a partner, he could no longer function properly and required medical treatment.

The doctor advised him that effectively the blood vessels had atrophied over the time primarily because masturbation does not sustain an erection for long enough to keep the blood vessels healthy.

You heard incorrect information. In a sexual situation a man can get an erection even if his partner never touches him. It's something of an "inside job" in the man's brain. Masturbation has no effect on erectile ability. If a man really has to rely on his partner to get him erect all the time, then there's something wrong with the man. Getting a woody should be a spontaneous thing.

If you want to do it, but at least be honest with yourself that you are doing it because you like to , not to prevent ED.

No, ED is more physiological and masturbation is not any kind of defense

no and no, if you get ed its because there is a blood flow problem, if you can get it up or the partner can get it up then its doing fine, however you can whack off all you like, it doesnt do anything one way or another,
