Well after the president vetos a bill the only way it can pass is if 2/3 of both houses vote for the bill after the veto. (also not only do democrats have override power, but everyone in the congress has override power.)

Dems don't have enough votes to override a veto. I hope President Bush has plenty of ink!

They don't have enough to ever ride a veto. You need 2/3 vote to override a veto.

Their are only 2 more Dems then Republicans in the Senate, and most of the ones that just took seats from Republicans will vote with the Republicans half of the time.

Sorry, Bush will overrule. He is, after all, the President. The Democrats may have taken over, but we will still see Republican bills being passed.

Not at all, you need somewhere around 2/3 of the Senate, forget it.
