I haven't heard anyone whine about it in the least. Is this just another way in which Republicans act like realist adults instead of idealist cry babies?

No where in my question do I use the words Democrat, Liberal, or Leftist. I'm sorry if anyone who falls into any of these categories feels as if I am attacking them, but I am not. It sounds as if some of you are holding onto some aggression about something. Maybe a guilty conscience over something in the past. I don't know what that could be, but don't transfer your ill will onto me. After all, I'm only asking a legitimate question.

Wow, what a wonderful question. I am a republican and am proud of my fellow Reps, we have not pressed lawsuits, whined, complained or anything. Simply looked forward. Simply analyzed what a Dem win meant, and considered the good and the bad. Yet we did not cry fraud, or complain. We simply looked at what happened, and how we can continue to progress America.

Yes.
But actually the ones I've talked to don't feel they lost anything. They weren't voting along party lines, they were cleaning house. Some of the republican leaders had failed them so they replaced them with ones who had similar views to their own, even if it meant a democrat (moderate). They hope democrats do a better job, at least they're willing to give them a chance.

Yes, that has not gone unnoticed by me. In loss, Republicans have behaved with humility and honor. Compare that to the Democrats in their defeats in the last few election cycles. And can anyone forget the 2000 election when Al Gore cried for months. As far as I can tell he still is!! What pansy crybabies Dems are.

I am not really seeing this past election as a total loss for Republicans. A fairly conservative democratic Congress, with a slim majority is not the loss it would have been with more liberal dems getting elected.
I still support the President, but it will be a rocky two years for our nation.
I still think the dems will need to come up with something to do with Iraq besides cut n run.

I've heard very little squabble about it, but then again, I guess because I believe that the vote is the right of people and shouldn't be disrespected (or claim a conspiracy or other such nonsense).

Yes, it's very surprising. But then again whenever I SEE political parties do that, i'm surprised. Bet they're crying behind locked doors though.

Although Bush got a touch petulant at his speech.
Allen did show a great deal of personal integrity when he conceeded and declined a recount

It does stand in stark contrast to the reactions of the losers in several recent elections. I certainly noticed.

Sorry I am a cynic; I believe that the concessions occurred only because these people had something to hide; Remember the rolling calls - I bet they would have led to a place Allen would not have liked investigators to go.....and I believe a recount would have triggered a widespread investigation.
