I don't think it's shocking at all. Dr. Hawkings probably knows that people from all over the world come to this site and it would be great exposure to his question.
That, by the way, the thing about famous people posting questions on Y! Answers, that goes on at Yahoo!'s sites all over the world. I know this because I usually answer at Y! Brazil. There too famous people post questions and get thousands and thousands of answers.

No. It is shocking they kept the records of a one time only questioner that never answered anything. He's Stephen Hawkings. You would think he might impart some of his wisdom on the people hear.

Not really. He only asked one question to get people interested in the site for Yahoo. Now if he was actually answering things especially in this category then I'd be shocked.

No creation!! Get real and see the truth!! What stephen Hawking has achieved is to bring the BAD christians out of the woodwork and expose their intolerance and inability to discuss and debate intelligently!! BAD christians always do far more damage to christianity than scientists ever could!!

yea yea, i remember when he asked that question. his book, Stephen Hawking's Universe is next to me on the computer desk (he didn't write it, but it's about his theories and speculations). Yea, i guess it is shocking. How many people are registered on this site now?

you'd think for somebody supposed to be so smart he might answer some questions. By the way if you start with 100 points and ask one question and no answers (his stats) how do you get 102 points.
