NO DON"T WAIT! It sounds to me like your having a stroke. If you wait until mmonday you may be partially paralyzed or dead. Quit screwing around, and get to the hospital

I guess one of the questions is what is your age. I would assume that you are r a young adult in your 20-30's (when most people use this site). it is extremely uncommon for younger aged peopel to have chest pain from a heart attack, unless there is a predisposing condition (born with a bad heart or high cholesterol). Also where is the pain/ is it in the middle of your chest, does it "radiate' (go any where), does it feel like pressure or a sharp pain. Can you reproduce the pain by pressing on your chest. DO you have palpitations.
So unless you have risk factors, have chest pressure, radiating pain or palpitation, it probably is not a "heart attack" and can wait .
However, if your not sure, and your girl friend insists, then you may need to get checked out tonight. Hope this is helpful. Good luck.

If you are having other symptoms with the chest pain such as numbness or sharp pain in your left arm or severe breathing problems, I think you should go to the ER but if the only symptom you have is a chest pain, it could be numerous of things but it can probably wait but I wouldn't ignore and I would definitely go the doctor if I were you.

Sorry, I didn't see the other question but apparently you are not having shortness of breath, so it must not be that kind of pain.If your chest hurts from exercise, lifting or pulling then it is muscle pain, even if it hurts to take a deep breath it could be muscle pain but if you feel a pressure in the chest, a heaviness, with difficulty to breathe and a feeling that something is wrong...Take your *** to the ER!!!!
Good luck...

When in doubt, go to a doctor. If you don't feel you need to go to a hospital, consider going to an urgent care center instead. They're cheaper and may be able to accurately diagnose you. If they cannot, they'll appropriately send you on to a hospital.

Wouldn't it be terrible to die from Denial?

If you are having chest pains - go get checked out
your body may be trying to tell you something.

move it - or - lose it
