No - because they're using him as the sacrificial lamb.
Getting rid of Rumsfeld is a red herring which is diverting the public's attention away from who also should be unceremoniously booted out of office : Bush and Cheney.

To take joy in some one elses pain is karmically turbulent. Luckily I don't think he suffered any pain, and is still probably a pompous azz. I have to agree with the othe post, I couldn't help but smile when I heard the news.

He resigned after 6 years in a very tough job. He's over 70. How do you figure he has been humiliated?
He has been a good public servant. Why do you want him to be humiliated? Why so much hate?

I think he is too thick skinned to feel any humiliation. Only a thick skinned uncaring narcisist could do what he did and "stay the course" the way he did.
Only humans feel humiliation.
But I am sure glad he is gone....
Sorely his arrogance will remain!

I was very glad to see his lyin', two-faced @ss hit the bricks. But I don't think he was humiliated....In fact, I suspect Georgie boy is polishing his Medal of Freedom even as I type. After all, the worse you fail, the faster he shoves that medal at you.

You are very hate-full. Why delight in someone else's fall? Does it prop you up?
I would have preferred that he resign about 6 months ago. But I find no joy in another's humiliation, particularly another American's.

Its sad to see people try to elevate themselves by attacking a man that is without a doubt a great American patriot serving his nation and certainly not a loser. It is worth noting that your lack of the former is only exceeded by your personification with the later.

Humiliated, no, but I won't miss him. He was too focused on his agenda, and not on the will of the people, or even the facts of the case.
