Someone you trust with everything in your life. Someone you want to share everything with. Someone who you would take all their pain away, if you could, when the time came. How many of those kinds of friends do you have? How many do you think the average is amoungst your piers? Do you think that number will change as you grow older?

Actually the number seems to get smaller as you grow older. I think because so many people are shady and you stop giving everyone the benefit of the doubt if you have been betrayed by people you care about. I have one person that I can trust and the sad part is it is not the person I am intimate with. My true friend is there for me always with no judgement no matter what. That is rare and if you can find more than one, well, you are just blessed.

Only one, and it's a good friend of mine that I have known for 7 years. I don't think it's very common to have such a good friend. Many of my peers don't. I don't know whether or not that will change as I get older, unless I count my future husband in that category.

i would have to say 2 that right now!!!!! There were more but it really turned out that they weren't good friends after all!!!! And yes it could change, but everything happens for a reason, may it be good or bad!!! Life goes on and you make it what you want

well i have 2 friends that i can tell them anything and they will always be ther for me..but i think that every perosn should have a friend that they trust at least just have one friend cuz that person will help u and they will always be with u...of course as u grow older u meet more people

frankly none ..yes i have close fren but i dont trust anyone one dat much to reveal my deep dark secrets even though they are close to me .. so even so i mite still have to put an act around dem.. as i dont want that person to just turn around her back on me .. as you go older its harder to find a really true fren ..

I am down to one. When I was young I had several that would die for me and vice-versa. But most of them are dead now. I guess they beat me.
